City of Fresno Historic Preservation Program
Purpose is to protect, enhance and perpetuate the use of structures and districts of historic architectural and engineering significance located within the city or of cultural and aesthetic benefit to the community. The Historic Preservation Commission regularly meets at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month in City Council Chambers, Fresno City Hall (2600 P Street).
Downtown Association of Fresno
Works to promote the development of Fresno's central area and to help civic groups to advance the growth of the central business district.
Fig Garden Woman's Club

The Foundation for the Perpetuation of St. John's Cathedral

Fresno City and County Historical Society Preservation Committee

Fresno County Archaeological Society

Fresno County Landmarks and Records Advisory Commission
Reviews and nominates cultural, architectural and historical buildings and sites. Marks or nominates areas of importance to specific ethnic groups in the community. Fresno Neighborhood Alliance
Consortium of neighborhood associations throughout Fresno. Neighborhood preservation is one of its key goals. Works to achieve this goal through supporting preservation of historic buildings and landscapes as well as efforts to increase safety and prevent blight in metro neighborhoods. Fresno Revitalization Corporation

Heritage Fresno Committee of the AAUW

Huntington Boulevard Historical Homeowners Association

Landmarks Preservation Council

Lowell/Jefferson Neighborhood Association

Memorial Auditorium Restoration Society

Meux Home Museum Corporation
Works to support the preservation of the Thomas R. Meux Home as a house museum.
San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust
Works to preserve and restore San Joaquin River lands of ecological, scenic or historic significance, to educate the public on the need for stewardship, to research issues affecting the river, and to promote educational and recreational uses of the river botton consistent with protection of its environment.
