The first property owners for this parcel were the Fresno Home Builders, who pulled the construction permit on May 22, 1930. According to research prepared by the Huntington Boulevard Homeowners Association, Charles and Sarah Hood were the first residents of this one-story Tudor home in 1938, although they quickly sold it in 1939. Charles Hood was a civil engineer and was appointed Postmaster by President Roosevelt in 1934.
