This full 2-story Arts and Crafts style home was one of several residences along Huntington owned by the developer Fred Billings. In 1914 Billings and his business partner Rhine Meyering acquired the Alta Vista Tract, completed the infrastructure and began to market the subdivision. A building permit for this property was issued to Alta Vista Homes Company on April 20, 1918. Billings' partner in real estate from 1935 on was H. R. Fine. Fine and his wife Mildred also lived in the home in later years.
