Clayton & Emily Chandler Home (1919)
3917 E. Huntington Boulevard
Craftsman
Bungalow
This 1919 Craftsman bungalow is similar to the two homes adjacent to it to the east. T. H. and Alvina Curry were the first owners but they sold the home immediately to the Chandlers, who lived here for 16 years. Clayton was a farmer and the Director of Sun Maid Raisin Growers. His father was State Senator W. F. Chandler, who donated the acreage on which Chandler Field Airport was constructed.
