The building permit for this parcel does not include the construction of this stucco-clad Tudor Revival residence. A permit to alter the garage was issued to contractor O. D. Atkins in 1922, and so it is safe to assume that the 1920 construction date (from Huntington Boulevard Association research) is correct. In 1936 a 10' x 35' addition was permitted to "rear and in front," which possibly refers to a new porch entry as well as the room on the northwest elevation.
