Mr. Clark was the director of the Union National Bank and later president of the Fresno Savings Bank, which were the first incorporated banks in Fresno under local leadership. In 1944 the property ownership was transferred to a daughter, Eva, who was married to Ben Walker, a well-known figure in Fresno for his extensive newspaper files that he later bequeathed to the Fresno Historical Society.
