H.P. #204
Ira Brooks Home (1905)
226 N. Fulton Street
(relocated from 350 N.
Fulton)
Craftsman/Dutch Colonial Revival hybrid
This home is likely one of the earliest true Craftsman bungaloids built in Fresno. The extensive use of clinker bricks on the front porch and chimney represent perhaps the most exuberant expression of that typically Arts & Crafts design feature anywhere in the city. This building was moved a short distance south on Fulton Street in the 1990s to make room for the Highway 180 project.
