Mid-century Modern
Robert Stevens, Architect

This home is an excellent example of Mid-century Modern design. Like many such homes, it has a modest façade largely concealed from view by landscaping. It is the interior and rear elevation of the home (shown here) that marks this residence as distinctive. Architect Robert Stevens is credited with pioneering the "Garden Office" property type, many of which were constructed along Shaw Avenue.
